Sarah is an incredibly creative, inspiring and motivating 3rd grade teacher focused on bringing science to life for her students! Sarah is currently collaborating with the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance piloting a 3rd grade unit as part of the PeBLES2 project (Place-Based Learning for Elementary Science at Scale). The unit is designed with an instructional base that teachers locally adapt and modify to the needs and interests of their students. Sarah is thinking creatively about how to bring science closer to home for her students – literally in their own schoolyard!
